My name is Michael Kneller and I have been serving as the Principal of North Brunswick Township High School (NBTHS) since November of 2017.

As an alumnus of the North Brunswick Township Public Schools, from elementary school through high school (Class of 1994), it is my desire to give back to the community I grew up in and to encourage the success of all current and future students.  

After attending NBTHS, I earned my bachelors in History from Rutgers University (1998) and my post baccalaureate teaching certificate from Kean University (2000).  I began my teaching career in 2000 at Spotswood High School before beginning my tenure in North Brunswick in 2002 as a Social Studies teacher.  I earned my degree in Educational Administration from Rider University in 2007 and have served as a Dean and Assistant Principal at NBTHS as well.

As principal, my focus is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that provides students with the resources they need to achieve the ultimate goal: graduation.  We emphasize relationship building between staff and students to foster a positive learning environment.
