“If people knew how hard I worked to get my mastery, it wouldn’t seem so wonderful at all.” ~ Michelangelo

Allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. LaChow, and I am teaching my 5th school year at North Brunswick High School. I have earned my BFA in fine art and illustration from The School of Visual Arts and have received my MA in Fine Art Education from Kean University. As your new teacher, I am very excited about becoming an active participant in your art experience within the classroom.

It is an honor to be a member of the visual arts team at North Brunswick and I am looking forward to helping you form a connection to the arts! I am going to spend my first week getting everyone familiar with the daily routines of the class as well as getting to know you. All students have their own unique gifts and talents and I have some creative ideas that I wish to share with you. It is my hope that you benefit from this experience as much as I will. I look forward to meeting you and having a great school year together!

Parents and Guardians: While this letter is only a brief introduction, I hope that each of you will become familiar with me as your child’s art teacher. If you have questions at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me. I hope I will have the opportunity to meet you over the next several months!

If you have any questions, please contact me by email:
