Textbook: Withgott, Jay. Pearson Environmental Science. Boston: Pearson, 2011. Print.

CLASS POLICIES:

1.       Treat each other respectfully (your teachers and classmates)

Speak your opinion and contribute to classroom discussions while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude towards others. VIOLENCE WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED.

2.       Come prepared to participate in class.

Bring all required materials to class with you every day, complete assignments prior to lessons, and pay attention during discussions.

3.       Complete all assignments within their respective time frames.

It is your responsibility to complete assignments on your own time, as keeping up with the assignments benefits your progression in this class and understanding of the material overall.

4.       Follow all safety protocols in the lab with the utmost care.

Laboratory rules are enforced for your wellbeing, as well as the wellbeing of others. Follow the safety protocols each and every time you are in the lab in order to maintain a healthy learning environment.

5.       Seek assistance when it is needed.

If you are struggling with any of the topics or wish to discuss ways to improve your performance in the class, ask for help from me or any of your peers. Remember that we are all here to learn together.
